December 3, 2012, Yountville, CA — Gina Gallo, famed winemaker of E & J Gallo, the world’s biggest wine company—and her husband, Jean-Charles Boisset, scion of the Boisset family, one of Burgundy and France’s largest wine companies and proprietor of Boisset Family Estates, one of the top 25 US wine producers—have been selected as honorary chairs for 20th Annual Red & White Affair, benefiting Yountville Elementary School. The event will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Historic Barrel Room at V Marketplace in Yountville, CA.
Guests will enjoy masterfully executed wine and food pairings while immersed in a 1920’s Speakeasy swanky atmosphere. During the live auction, exquisite wines along with some of the most unique once in a lifetime experiences will go to the highest bidder.
In addition, the Red & White Affair committee will present Gina Gallo and Jean-Charles Boisset with the Spirit of Giving award for their exemplary benevolence and innovative leadership.
“Gina Gallo and Jean-Charles Boisset have a long history of encouraging generosity and serving as inspiring role models to others. It will be an honor to present them with the Spirit of Giving award” stated Nicole Rosenstiel, Red & White event chair. “By accepting the honorary positions, Gina and Jean-Charles are making a huge impact in our small community. The funds raised at this event will directly support high-quality educational and art programs for the children of Yountville.”
